How to draw attention

While returning from a breakfast meeting at "3 monkeys" with my colleague Sho, we saw this fellow near the train station, promoting "The Big Issue":














Creative : check!                  Persuasive: check!



 And why is that? Even if he  might have not been successful in making people buy the magazine, he did a great job on persuading people to look at him and be aware of what is it that he's promoting. And that's only because he was creative. He thought about what he could do to stand out... well, actually, standing on one foot. Did he manage doing that? Definitely yes.


And if you're reading this right now, it means I have done the same thing.

Raising awareness about what you are representing is, to me, as important as making people actually purchasing the good/business. This is why creativity and persuasion are primordial in the public relations sphere.
